FleetSoft Launches Truck Tracker’s Mobile Field Service Order Module

FleetSoft responds to their customer’s requests by developing the Truck Tracker Mobile Field Service Order Module.
Truck Tracker’s Mobile Field Service Order Module provides communication between driver and dispatcher using UDP protocol. This protocol utilizes a very small packet size which maintains a low cost data usage.
The dispatcher sends scheduled time, project ID, address, job description, and notes to a driver’s laptop. The driver completes the service and sends miles, hours, and notes by vehicle and project ID to the Truck Tracker server. The information is used to calculate the vehicle cost per project ID using the given miles/hours entered by the driver.

Over the past two years, FleetSoft has partnered exclusively with ATS in integrating its Truck Tracker fleet maintenance software with ATS’ Open Source financial system to meet the needs of electrical cooperatives.
FleetSoft is happy to announce the launch of its new Mobile Field Service Order Module along with new enhancements to the ATS Interface Module. This new module will offer many benefits in both efficiency and productivity. It also will incorporate key strategic reports including a mileage by project report which has been a top request by may cooperatives.
FleetSoft is excited to be presenting this new module at the ATS 2010 User Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina June 7th -11th, 2010.
